OBJECTIVE
Transforming reclaimed metal into unique possibilities while inspiring the community towards sustainable innovation.

SUMMARY
I work primarily with found & scrap steel; transforming industries waste into forms for renewed opportunities of engaging with our surroundings through design. I am inspired by the Scarab Beetle who forms new life from the waste of animals and by doing so plays a huge role in improving soil structure – Earth's most valuable and underappreciated source of fertility. My studio in North Denver is fueled by solar cells and full of old tools given to me by my father in law, an Eastern Colorado farmer where I also get much of my material. I am also a gardener and community organizer and feel passionately about building healthy community connections. Currently I direct art and garden programming with students and their families in West Denver.
